The Best Western Plus Tree House is seeking candidates for our Breakfast Server position to join our Restaurant team. The Breakfast Server is responsible for ensuring that all food items are attractively presented and replenished in a timely manner and in accordance with standards. To service the needs of all guests during serving hours in a quick, efficient, and friendly manner, thus ensuring guest satisfaction. The purpose of this position is to ensure outstanding service delivery to each customer in a consistent and friendly manner. Emphasis is placed on being a strong team player and building a professional and skilled service-oriented team that maintains top-notch performance on a daily basis

GENERAL RESPONSIBILTIES

• Great customer service skills.
• Greet customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on the customer’s menus.
• Take and serve/drinks orders.
• Upsell when appropriate.
• Arrange table settings.
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
• Deliver checks and collect payments.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.

• Shift priorities readily and as needed depending on the restaurant/hotel needs. Analyze a problem and reach sound conclusions in an expedited manner to the staff and to their direct report

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Experience
1 year of experience at a branded Food and Beverage operations or restaurant preferred

Licenses or Certificates
ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate required.
