Best Friends Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (CSR) to join our multi-doctor, small animal practice.

This is a great opportunity for animal lovers who are looking to enter the veterinary field (prior experience is a plus!) Candidates must be reliable, friendly, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

We’re open to full-time, M-Sat scheduling. Candidates must be available to work a varied schedule, including Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Collaboration with other team members
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales
• Financial transactions
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice
