BEST Engineered Surface Technologies is focused on being the early adaptor of coating/finishing technologies by capturing innovative technologies and adapting them to resolve our customer’s specific needs in order to advance the performance characteristics of our customer’s parts/components.

BEST Engineered Surface Technologies is working to change the “norm” by acquiring multiple geographically disbursed coating/finishing companies that have unique or diverse processing technologies. We pride ourselves on the ability to sell into diverse markets. Currently, we have four divisions (Windsor Metal Finishing, Teknicote, Medicote, and Diamonex). Acquiring companies allows BEST Engineered Surface Technologies to support our growing customer base with new adaptable technologies which may resolve their design or materials challenges. This new member of our team and family will be leading the talent acquisition, onboarding and people management of all of our divisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruiting efforts from Senior Management Executives to entry-level production associates.
• Implement innovative methods to attract experienced and diverse talent
• Identify and recommend best practice onboarding processes
• Guide hiring managers on behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques that will help them identify the best candidates for their position
• Develop and maintain a process that will provide feedback from new hires in the first year and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain a process for exiting employees to provide feedback on their experiences and to provide them with the necessary exit information
• Track recruiting and retention analytics such as time to hire, turnover, and employee satisfaction
• Other projects as assigned by the Corporate Director of Human Resources
• All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related majors and at least 5 years of progressive recruiting, generalist, and management experience
• Proven experience attracting and hiring executive and professional-level positions.
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines, strong planning, and project management skills
• Outstanding communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Experience working with remote teams
• HR certification a plus
• The ability to work with a diverse culture to help ways to improve processes, quality, and safety
• The ability to exemplify and embrace our BEST values and culture of quality, customer service, safety, and team
