Job Summary
This position serves as the lead Technical Manager for software assurance and cybersecurity, working primarily Joint Federated Assurance Center (JFAC), Trusted Systems and Networks, and Supply Chain Risk Management.
Clearance Requirements
Current TS-SCI Security Clearance
Essential Functions/ PWS Requirement
Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in cyber and software related architecture or engineering efforts.
Direct, review, and participate in the approval of cyber and software related efforts, project design and/or budgets changes and potential budget impacts.
Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications and/or changes in production schedules impacted by budget adjustments or procedures.
Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients.
Consult with Clients/end user communities to prepare/adjust project impacted.
Coordinate DAF role in collaboration with the JAFC to ensure governance and robust incorporation of Trusted Systems and Networks efforts into program protection and participate in DAF and OSD-level Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) working groups to increase DAF cooperation with industrial and innovation bases.
Handles confidential and classified (Secret/TS-SCI) information, correspondence, and communications.
Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.
Required Skills, Certifications & Qualifications
Clearance:
Current TS-SCI Security Clearance
Civilian Education:
Master of Arts/Master of Science (MA/MS)
Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of MA/MS degree
Experience:
10 years’ experience in Software or Electrical Engineering
Degree in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Assurance
Desired Skills, Certifications & Qualifications
US Military Educational Level (MEL) IV, Command and General Staff College or equivalent
3 years’ experience in a Program Management Office (PMO) and/or experience on the Air Staff is desirable
