Job Summary
This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing critical, time-sensitive material, ensuring the appropriate Air Force subject matter experts receive the information for review and comment, and formulating a well-articulated DAF recommendation.
Clearance Requirements
Current TS-SCI Clearance
Essential Functions/ PWS Requirement
Review assigned CFIUS transactions to assess the impact on the DAF to conduct its national security mission and provide a recommendation back to the OSD.
Staff cases to provide for functional and subject matter expert review.
Coordinate and de-conflict recommendations from reviewers.
Provide analysis to support an DAF recommendation for each case. Collaborate with other CFIUS reviewers to facilitate case review and establishment of DAF recommendation.
Participate in CFIUS case deliberations as required by OSD.
Inform SAF/AQX leadership on CFIUS cases that may significantly impact the DAF.
Notify OSD of any foreign acquisitions of U.S. companies that are of concern to the DAF and have not been submitted to CFIUS for review.
Analyze CFIUS cases for trends effecting the DAF.
Attend/Participate in meetings, as required
Handles confidential and classified (Secret/TS-SCI) information, correspondence, and communications.
Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.
Required Skills, Certifications & Qualifications
Clearance:
Current TS-SCI Clearance
Civilian Education:
Master of Arts/Master of Science (MA/MS)
Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of BA/BS degree
Experience:
10 years’ relevant experience
Experience working Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) is strongly desired
Desired Skills, Certifications & Qualifications
US Military Educational Level (MEL) IV, Command and General Staff College or equivalent
