Job Description

Job Title: Rehabilitation - Med/Surg RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation - Med/Surg RN to join our team and provide compassionate care to patients recovering from illness or surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical/surgical nursing and a passion for helping patients regain their strength and independence.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conducting assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
• Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting care plans as needed
• Providing education to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home care
• Collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of rehabilitation best practices and evidence-based care
