Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse RN ICU (Intensive Care)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will provide critical care to patients who are severely ill or injured. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to monitor and treat patients in critical condition.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans
- Operate and maintain medical equipment
- Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment plan
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
