Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in emergency situations, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assessing patients' conditions and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.3. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.4. Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any significant changes.5. Performing emergency procedures such as CPR, intubation, and wound care.6. Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.7. Educating patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.9. Providing emotional support to patients and their families during times of crisis.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of employment.2. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.7. Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices.8.
