Job Description

Job title: LPN Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN Wound Care Nurse to provide specialized care to patients with wounds. The LPN Wound Care Nurse will work closely with the healthcare team to assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic wounds, as well as educate patients and their families on wound care techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assessing and documenting wound conditions
• Implementing and monitoring wound care treatment plans
• Providing wound debridement and dressing changes
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educating patients and families on wound care techniques
• Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
• Maintaining accurate patient records

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current LPN license in the state of practice
• Certification in wound care (CWOCN, CWON, or WCC) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with experience in wound care
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
