Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse (ED RN)Job Summary:As an Emergency Room Nurse (ED RN), you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in the emergency department. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries. Your quick thinking, decision-making skills and ability to remain calm under pressure will be vital in this role.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assessing and triaging patients upon their arrival in the emergency department2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician3. Monitoring and evaluating patient response to interventions4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care5. Participating in emergency response activities and disaster preparedness6. Documenting all patient care activities accurately and timelyQualifications and Skills:1. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice2. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing4.
