We now specialize in doing your electrical service work. Bertke will maintain and repair all of your electrical equipment. We also offer infrared/thermal imaging, arc flash studies and arc flash training. We are currently adding Electrician Apprentices to our growing team servicing the KY/OH/IN markets! We are seeking Electrician Apprentices with practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment and a strong willingness to learn! Their job involves assisting Electrician journeyman with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various commercial and industrial buildings.

1. **Installation:** Learn to perform the installation of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
2. **Maintenance:** Conduct routine maintenance of electrical systems to ensure they are in proper working condition. This may include troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements.
3. **Blueprint Reading:** Learn to interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to plan and execute installations accurately.
4. **Testing and Inspections:** Use testing devices to check the functionality of electrical systems, identify faults, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Participate in inspections as required.
5. **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards.
6. **Code Compliance:** Stay updated on local and national electrical codes and regulations. Ensure all work meets the required standards and obtain necessary permits when needed.
7. **Collaboration:** Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as architects and contractors, to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems into overall building projects.
8. **Customer Service:** Interact with clients to understand their electrical needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns. Ensure customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
9. **Problem Solving:** Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions. Troubleshoot problems efficiently and make necessary repairs.
10. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of work performed, including specifications, materials used, and any changes made during the installation or maintenance process.
11. **Continuous Learning:** Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
