Job Description: Nissan Assistant Service Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Nissan Assistant Service Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Service Manager in overseeing the operations of our Nissan service center, ensuring top-notch customer service and efficient service processes.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Service Manager in managing the overall operations of the Nissan service center, ensuring smooth and efficient customer service experience.
2. Support in supervising and leading the service team, providing clear instructions and guidance to achieve department goals and targets.
3. Collaborate with the Service Manager to plan and schedule service appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and meeting customer expectations.
4. Coordinate with the Service Manager to develop and implement service policies and procedures for the Nissan service center.
5. Assist in training and developing service technicians and advisors to enhance their skills and customer service abilities.
6. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of service equipment and tools to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the service center.
8. Collaborate with the Service Manager to maintain effective communication channels with customers, providing updates on service progress and resolving any issues or complaints.
9. Assist in analyzing service center performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing appropriate action plans.
10. Assist in managing department budgets and controlling expenses to ensure profitability.
11. Stay updated on Nissan's latest technical information, service procedures, and industry trends.
12. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Service Manager to support the smooth operation of the Nissan service center.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or related field is preferred.
2. Previous experience in automotive service operations, preferably with Nissan vehicles, is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a service department is an advantage.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and vendors.
5. Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and support team members.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
7. Proficient in using computer systems and software applications related to automotive service.
8. Knowledge of Nissan vehicles, technical systems, and service procedures is advantageous.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
