Job Summary:
Bertera Nissan is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers, assessing their vehicle repair needs, and providing appropriate recommendations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position based at our dealership with a salary ranging from $65,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service in a professional manner.
2. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their vehicle concerns or repair needs.
3. Accurately assess and document the customer's vehicle issues and requirements.
4. Offer recommended maintenance and repair services based on the customer's concerns and vehicle manufacturer guidelines.
5. Provide accurate estimates for repairs, ensuring transparency and clarity in communicating costs to customers.
6. Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring efficient use of the service department's resources.
7. Keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle's repairs, including additional work or delays that may arise.
8. Collaborate with technicians and other service department staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
9. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding Nissan vehicles, keeping up-to-date with new models, technical bulletins, and recalls.
10. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.
11. Ensure that all service department interactions comply with dealership policies and procedures.
12. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in the dealership's computer systems.
13. Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automotive service advising.
14. Work collaboratively with the sales team to promote the dealership's services, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive-related certifications or education is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-focused role within the automotive industry.
3. Strong automotive knowledge, particularly in relation to Nissan vehicles.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage appointments and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Proficient computer skills with experience using automotive service software and databases.
8. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and customer-centric environment.
10. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on automotive trends and advancements.
