JOB SUMMARY:

Position Overview:

As the Business Office Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, private pay billing, ancillary billing, and reviewing aged receivables. Additionally, you will manage a third-party insurance biller that we contract with, ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management within a similar healthcare environment and will possess the initiative and autonomy to thrive in a self-directed role.

Responsibilities for Director Of Finance:

Oversees the Business Department in Accounts Payable, Accounts Payable and other financial aspects of the organization.

Supervises and coordinates a Skilled Nursing Billing Partner in the process of submitting of claims and collection of third-party receivables.

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as needed for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with other departments to address financial concerns and optimize revenue cycle management.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting billing and reimbursement in healthcare.

Qualifications for Director Of Finance:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.

Knowledge of the Skilled Nursing billing regulations and reimbursement processes.

Familiarity with private pay billing, third-party insurances, and ancillary billing procedures.

Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and basic accounting principles.

Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.

Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Point Click Care preferred.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and address financial discrepancies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
