If so, we are seeking a Forklift Operator I, who will be responsible for prepping shipments, loading and unloading product, and supporting general warehouse operations using warehouse equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Operate forklift, hand truck / warehouse carts, pallet jack, and/or other equipment in a professional and safe manner
  • Organize and prepare customer orders with a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Transfer supplies from department to department to meet production or shipping demand
  • Properly store and label all materials and finished product
  • May prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders
  • May be required to record transactions via computer in ERP system
  • Perform cycle counting as required
  • Notify leadership of non-compliant ware
  • Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized to cGMP standards
  • Comply with all ISO standards
  • Support company and branch metrics
  • Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values
  • Other tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED required strongly preferred
  • Prior warehouse and forklift experience strongly preferred
  • Required to take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program, which ensures you will be able to operate a forklift in accordance with Berlin Packaging’s safety guidelines. Failure to pass the exam results in the Company ending your employment. Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with high attention to detail

  • Self-motivated; reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:

Must be able to frequently lift/move boxes weighing up to 20lbs and occasionally lift/ move boxes and/or pallets up to 45lbs through warehouse.
