BERKS COUNTY INSURANCE GROUP, INC. is a small Insurance Agency in Reading, PA. We are a professional organization, in business since 1984. Our goal is to provide quality insurance options and advice to our clients. We pride ourselves on being trustworthy and fair while providing first class service to our policyholders.

We offer a pleasant working environment in a local office. We are looking for an individual who wants to be a long term team member of a growing agency and will recognize the potential long term opportunity that exists with this roll.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative/Inside Producer to actively participate in the activities of our growing company. The ideal candidate for this position will be customer-oriented and enthusiastic. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance.....OR have some insurance agency experience and be willing to work towards getting licensed. This position is a crucial part of our team and the ideal candidate will be able to multi-task efficiently and have an excellent work ethic. Willingness to learn and grow with our company is a prerequisite for anyone applying that does not have Insurance Agency experience.

This job is offered on a "hybrid-remote" basis meaning some remote work may be offered (snow days, occasional situations, etc.)...but for the most part, this job will be performed on site at our new upcoming office location.

Rate of Pay is commensurate with level of Insurance experience with annual pay increases with additional "incentive pay" and "bonus pay" based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Answer customer calls, emails, and requests and provide excellent customer service.
• In-house Sales & Account Rounding for existing client base.
• Resolve customer problems in a timely manner.
• Advise clients on products and endorsements offered.
• Establish rapport with customers.
• Maintain customers' data, such as addresses and accounts.
• Process requests for the purchase of insurance.
• Work with other departments to resolve customer issues.
• Understand internet technologies and their applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
