Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Level 1 IT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will provide both in-office and on-site IT support, covering a wide range of technical issues, including our Point of Sale (POS) system. This role also involves providing remote support to ensure our IT operations run smoothly across all our store locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email, applications, and more.
• Support and maintain our in-store Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Travel to different store locations to provide on-site IT support as required.
• Provide remote technical support to store locations outside Joliet.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in the setup of new IT equipment, including but not limited to computers, printers, and POS systems.
• Collaborate with IT support and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different store locations.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Customer-focused attitude with a strong emphasis on providing a positive user experience.
