Bergmann's Midwest team is looking for a Transportation Project Manager! This position is a great role for someone looking to join a growing Infrastructure team!
What You’ll Be Doing: A Transportation Project Manager leads teams of engineers in our various transportation groups, including traffic, highway/roadway design, bridge, and construction. This individual is also responsible for assisting with design work as needed.
Who We’re Looking For: PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH MDOT/ODOT IS REQUIRED. The ideal candidate has a PE license or is able to be licensed in MI and/or OH through reciprocity. Other requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university, previous experience with Federal Aid/Municipally funded projects and proficiency in MicroStation. Geopak and InRoads experience is preferred.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful in the role:
•Able to resolve design complexities at an advanced level
•10 years experience in highway design working with MDOT and/or ODOT
•Municipally funded project experience
•MicroStation and Geopak, and/or InRoads experience
•An interest in team environments as a mentor/coach and/or technical lead
•Experience overseeing project staff
•Strong systems thinking and able to effectively communicate the steps needed in a process
•Excellent research skills
•Marketing and business development experience is a plus!
