Job purpose

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant and AR specialist to join our finance team and contribute to our company's financial management and support our growing business. 

In this role, you will be in charge of the invoicing process from issuing the invoice to cash collection. This position is key to maintaining a positive relationship with customers while optimizing cash flow. The person will also own and deliver core accounting activities for some of our subsidiaries across 9 countries, including reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.

You will ensure smooth and correct transactions and process according to calendar or upon request but you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the operations and commercial teams to further develop our financial processes as the company grows internationally. 

Duties and responsibilities

As an Accounting and Finance Specialist , your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Managing the AR process from billing to cash collection for the group
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the process
• Collaborating and communicating efficiently with sales department
• Being in charge of the bookkeeping process for two subsidiaries
• Managing the complete month-end close process as well as some day-to-day financial transactions
• Maintaining accurate and complete records, including invoices, receipts and other documents
• Prepare ad hoc reports related to the AR and revenue

Must have

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a similar degree
• Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with accounting softwares like Sage Intaact
• Ability to work to deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Team player with experience in an international environment
• Good communication skills in written and spoken in English
• Driven, independent, open-minded and flexible
