BEP Vietnamese Kitchen is Hiring an Assistant Manager Near Holly Springs, NC

Bep Vietnamese Kitchen is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to join our front-of-house team. As a acclaimed restaurant in the heart of downtown, we take pride in delivering exceptional Vietnamese cuisine and outstanding hospitality to our guests.

In this key role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations, including supervising and developing our service staff. You will help create an unparalleled dining experience by ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards, and helping cultivate a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading and motivating the front-of-house team, providing guidance, training and feedback
  • Oversee day-to-day operations like seating/greeting guests, reservation management and end-of-shift reports
  • Uphold and model superior guest service standards, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
  • Participate in hiring, scheduling and performance management for service staff
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies/regulations
  • Support the GM in developing promotions, initiatives and employee engagement activities
  • Take ownership of the restaurant when the GM is absent, anticipating needs and making decisions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and outstanding guest service
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Composure under pressure and skill at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic financial/cost control knowledge
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine/culture is a plus but not required
  • Barista experience is a plus
