Behavior Analyst
Assignment Location: Benton-Stearns Education District
Anticipated Start Date: 24-25 School Year
Salary: Placement per the EdMN Benton-Stearns Master Agreement, based on education and experience. This is a 182 day contract with limited responsibilities outside the school calendar. Salary ranges from $61,000-$91,000.
Other Compensation: Mileage reimbursement based on current IRS standard business mileage rate. Paid professional development opportunities.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Benton-Stearns Education District is accepting applications for a board certified behavior analyst. Applicants seeking a paid internship placement are also welcome to apply. The position exists to support schools in their effort to proactively intervene with students through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and to support students currently receiving special education services. The behavior analyst will support students’ learning, social development, and mental and behavioral health using problem solving, assessment, data-based decision-making, and the delivery of evidenced-based interventions. The Behavior Analyst will provide behavior analytic assessments, support the creation of behavior intervention plans and work directly with teams to support students enrolled in our member districts and level IV programs. The position provides consultation to member district staff in behavior management techniques for prevention, early intervention, and crisis management. Members of the behavior analyst team meet regularly to collaborate on assessment decisions, discuss plan design, collaborate on professional development for colleagues, and support the professional development of each team member. Members of our behavior analyst team are under the general supervision of the Assistant Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis or equivalentCertification by the National Behavior Analyst Certification Board or willingness to obtain certification. Experience working with children with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Experience working with children with autism.
Experience providing professional development and training.
Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota and ability to drive to various locations.
Ability to lift and transport necessary equipment.

Benton-Stearns Education District (BSED) is an agency that provides support to six-member school districts (Foley, Holdingford, Kimball, ROCORI, Sartell-St. Stephen and Sauk Rapids-Rice) that have joined together to provide services in the area of special education. The Benton-Stearns Education District main office is located in Sartell, MN which is a suburb of St. Cloud.
