Primary Responsibilities:Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify potential leads through online research, industry directories, and social media platforms
- Utilize virtual networking opportunities, such as webinars or online industry events, to expand the client base
- Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and readiness to purchase
- Conduct virtual sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations using video conferencing tools
- Showcase the features and benefits of electrical products or solutions, emphasizing how they meet the client's requirements
- Address any questions or concerns raised by clients during the virtual meetings
- Prepare and customize sales proposals or quotes based on the client's specifications and budget
- Negotiate terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Handle objections and address client concerns to facilitate the sales process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and personalized interactions
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to address client needs and ensure satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients
- Use CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain an organized pipeline
- Update sales forecasts, report on progress against targets, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Generate accurate and timely reports for management review and decision-making
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and technological advancements in the electrical field
- Participate in virtual training sessions, webinars, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- Seek feedback from peers and supervisors to improve performance and achieve sales goals
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with company objectives
- Provide feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints
- Sales volume in accordance with annual operating plan targets
- Order (booking) volume targets
- Price quality targets in support of overall business profitability objectives
- Customer net promoter improvement targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support both internal and external individual and team engagement
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Requires strong commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Detail orientated, independent self-starter
- Realized and / or ability to become proficient with ERP, CRM, email, word processing and related tools and systems.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills required
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Good written and verbal communication skills, self-starter
