SUMMARY: The Compliance Coordinator provides varied administrative and tactical support within the department. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioririze and organize a diversified workload. This individual recommends changes and improvements to office practices or procedures while honoring commitment to, and enhancing, safety, operational excellence, and customer service. This position deals with a diverse group of important external and internal customers and visitors at all levels of the organization. This position is responsible for the proper handling, securement, and safe keeping of confidential and sensitive information.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to travel, (less than 10)% travel is required). Must be willing to occasionally work nights and weekends when necessary. Strict adherence to Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS
Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some combination of skills and abilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Professional experience and associated skills in a safety management function may substitute for any absence of education requirements.
Requires excellent personal computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, specifically spread sheeting and database querying. TMW (or similar operational management software) and telematics experience is highly desirable.
This position requires strong administration skills with advanced computer and data entry & analysis capabilities. Job duties require accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. This position represents the Company in a positive image interacting with our employees, customers, and community in a safe and ethical manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a business environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS (English)
Ability to read and interpret documents such payroll tax forms, safety policies and procedures, driver vehicle examination reports (i.e. roadside inspections), police accident reports, employee handbook, operating and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization. Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, pie charts, or other graphical depictions of data.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Advanced computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office products, to include proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation, and data-base applications, e-mail and internet. Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to analyze and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
