Bennington Rutland Supervisory Union is Hiring a SPECIAL EDUCATOR (ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL) Near Manchester, VT

Job Description
The Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union in southern Vermont is seeking a full time licensed Special Educator to provide IEP services, case manage students, and conduct special education evaluations for elementary and middle school students at Manchester Elementary Middle School. In this position, a special educator will work with classroom teachers to ensure well-aligned, personalized, instructional programming for students. We are looking for an advocate with tenacity and a growth mindset, who sets high standards for students. A willingness to collaborate and think creatively are some important traits we seek in our teachers.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree / Demonstrated skill and experience in working with students with disabilities is required / Holds or is eligible to hold a Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement / Copies of transcripts and license(s) must be uploaded to the application for all licensed positions. Successful applicants to Licensed positions will be required to provide copies of official transcripts to Human Resources before completion of the hiring process. / Preferences: VT AOE Licensure as a Special Educator
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Master degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
