Job Description: The Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union in southern Vermont is seeking a full time licensed Special Educator with experience in developing and implementing educational programs for middle school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder at Manchester Elementary Middle School. Applicants should have experience with a range of evidence-based practices for servicing students with Autism and be comfortable with providing specialized programming in a pull-out setting as well as collaborating with other professionals in an inclusive setting. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree Demonstrated skill and experience in working with students with disabilities is required Holds or is eligible to hold a Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement Copies of transcripts and license(s) must be uploaded to the application for all licensed positions. Successful applicants to Licensed positions will be required to provide official transcripts to Human Resources before completion of the hiring process. Preferences: VT AOE Licensure as a Special Educator Current certification in CPI or other crisis intervention program Experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Experience with individuals with significant challenging behaviors
