Overview:

This position will report to the Ace Doran Director of Technology and will be responsible for providing IT support to Ace Doran employees, drivers, and agents, both remote and in-person. Candidates will be working with a wide variety of technology in this role, including computer hardware, software, mobile apps, data networks, mobile devices, phone systems, and more. This role supports both Ace Doran’s headquarters in Evendale, Ohio, and 8 field office locations. Additionally, candidates will be frequently assigned technology duties relating to marketing and design. Candidates will work closely with the Bennett Family of Companies marketing staff on projects and special events of mutual interest.

Duties:

• Work directly with end users (drivers, office staff, remote staff) via phone, email, or chat to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Deploy, maintain, and support desktop hardware and software, phones, mobile devices, printers, copiers and other electronic equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records of electronic equipment.
• Establish and maintain user accounts for drivers and/or employees for a variety of software. Create, maintain, present training for end-users on the use of various business-critical software suites. Maintain user credentials for various platforms, issuing, resetting, canceling as needed.
• Marketing functions including social media, photography/photo editing, video production/editing, creating and maintaining company marketing materials, working with company branding and logos, coordinating with outside vendors, basic website maintenance (no coding required), and working with digital signage.
• Perform minor repairs to computers, hardware, and other electronics when needed.
• Maintain documentation of problems, contacts, and responses in the IT helpdesk system (Zendesk).
• Assist in coordinating third-party technical services as needed for field office repairs, troubleshooting, construction, etc. This will occasionally require in-person travel to these locations.
• Other duties as assigned by Ace Doran Director of Technology.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Windows 10, experience with Windows 11 is a plus.
• Must have experience troubleshooting problems on the following equipment: PC equipment, tablets, smart phones, peripherals, multi-function printers, and wired and wireless network connectivity, video-conference technology.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and Office 365 environment.
• Must be familiar with VoIP phones, including basic-level installation, troubleshooting, and user setup.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and related administrative functions is a plus.
• Helpdesk experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Adobe software products including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom are preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry is a plus.
• Experience developing and presenting training materials to end-users and staff is preferred.
• A successful candidate should have an interest in marketing, graphic design, and photography. Experience or training in these areas would be highly desirable, but a willingness to learn is most important.
