Volunteer Services Manager
Primary Location: Sun City West, Arizona (Relocation not provided).
Work Hours: 40 hours week Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm.
Rate of Pay: $23.41 ph.
What will you be doing?
- Developing and supervising the volunteer services department to include all points of the volunteer life cycle: agency needs assessment, recruitment, interviewing, orientation, placement, recognition and retention.
- The position will identify and implement a comprehensive action plan to strengthen and enhance the volunteer services program to impact all areas of the Benevilla programs.
- The Volunteer Services Manager will build a strategic, engaged volunteer experience and will cultivate long-term relationships to drive the Benevilla mission.
- Bachelor’s degree in social services, nonprofit management or resource management preferred and one (1) to two (2) years of proven experience in volunteer management and recruitment in non-profit organizations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to meet people with ease, communicate one-on-one and in group settings.
- Promote team building and experience in a leadership role required.
- Possess excellent written communication skills, time management, public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to be self-managed, meet deadlines, monitor and report team outcomes and goal analysis.
- Required knowledge of computer systems and the ability to work with word processing, data management, and spreadsheet and data analysis programs.
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
