Benefis Health System is Hiring a Contracts Management & Payor Credentialing Assistant, Clinic Administration (Registry) Near Great Falls, MT

Job Summary:

Assist the President, COO and Physician Contracts Coordinator in the production, tracking and monitoring of contracts that are under the corporate structure of Benefis Medical Group and assist the Provider Payer Credentialing Coordinator in the completion of the credentialing process in an accurate and timely manner. Provides system wide communication for the coordination of provider privileging, payer credentialing, and on boarding of new providers. Understands and follows the organization's policies, procedures and standards.

NON-EXEMPT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compile, organize data, and draft all provider employment agreements to include new offers, contract renewals, and other contracts as requested.

Is knowledgeable of the contract data bases, MD staff, CAQH and is able to accurately populate the databases.

Is able to effectively utilize the contract database track and monitor future required actions on all provider employment agreements and other contract renewals, changes, etc.

Oversees the communication for provider contract events (signed, renewals, changes) to all system departments per procedure.

Assists in the maintenance of all contract files, including contracts, addendums and other documentation.

Participates in continuous process improvement and lean programs to streamline and improve the contracting and onboarding process.

Competent in the PAF process for all provider contract changes as applies.

Insure that all payer requests for additional information are responded to in a timely manner.

Work with the providers to obtain required pre-employment documentations to prevent delays in HR processing.

Communicate with providers to insure that applications are completed and submitted within on-boarding timeline requirements.

Insure that all payer requests for additional information have been completed.

Maintains records pertinent to provider's CAQH and re-attestations through email notifications.

Demonstrates the ability to order supplies; completes and authorizes requisitions.

Demonstrates the ability to compile and organize data and reports.

Able to put together data from different sources for special projects; prepares reports.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Answers the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls appropriately.

Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.

Is a resource person both within the department and to administrative staff of other departments.

Demonstrates the ability to schedule meetings between departments, directors/managers.

Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organized.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Professional Requirements:

Complies with Health and Safety Standards and Guidelines.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Associate's Degree preferred.

Three to five years' experience in office management or contract management preferred.

Experience in hospital/payer credentialing preferred.
