Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various production and administrative functions. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Become educated enough in the company's ERP system to properly utilize it across multiple job functions
- Manage and maintain office and shop supplies
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and phone calls
- Assist with file management and organization (both paper and electronic)
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed (Quoting, Customer Service, Purchasing, A/P A/R, Production, etc.)
- Supervise office staff and provide guidance when necessary
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new computer programs and online portals quickly
- Drive to become proficient in a variety of skills
- Desire to be progressive in ways that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of a given process
- Experience with manufacturing office management and supply chain is a plus
- Familiarity with basic accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong team management and supervisory skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Compensation is based on experience and abilities. All employees undergo a performance evaluation at 90 days as well as annually.
