• Create and maintain quoting programs utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or advanced database programs to efficiently quote new and existing business.
• Understand customer RFP/RFI/RFQ’s and customer inputs and requirements relative to scope of quote and liability to Benchmark and ensure quotes are in line with sector regulations/requirements. Review customer specifications to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive.
• Structure pricing and execute the quote in a manner that will be competitive and position Benchmark to win the opportunity consistent with the operating guidelines established for the sector.
• Maintain the accuracy of quoting models and information in the operating system to ensure accurate cost and quoting programs. Execute ad-hoc costing studies and analyses when needed.
• Understand, analyze, document and communicate contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard.
• Structure pricing and execute the quote in a manner that will be competitive and position Benchmark to win the opportunity consistent with the operating guidelines established for the sector.
• Work with material quote and engineering resources and/or support quotation of materials and labor quotes in order to obtain the information required to deliver a quality quote on time. Coordinate with Business Development and customer to determine and/or clarify project requirements to ensure quality output.
• Follow up and report on outstanding quotations to improve quotation process and measure effectiveness.
