- Answering phones and greeting customers in the showroom promptly and in a friendly manner
- Obtaining customer and vehicle information
- Advising customers on the care and the value of maintaining their vehicles
- Determining and recommending needed maintenance base on age, mileage, and vehicle history
- Determining needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
- Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Preparing complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Monitoring the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
- Verifying final invoice reflects services performed on the work order
- Increasing customer satisfaction by building customer relations
- Maintaining the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations
- Automotive service and tire knowledge required.
- Excellent phone and communication skills.
- Willingness to provide superior customer service.
- Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to customers.
