This new and exciting opportunity allows individuals selected to work, while attending school, all without the stress of paying for school. This scholarship program will be open to internal and external applicants.

If selected, the Student Medical Assistant will work at Beloit Clinic training as a Medical Assistant, and attend classes. The duties of the Student Medical Assistant will include actively participate in patient care duties under the direction of the Medical Assistants and Nurses within their assigned areas, reporting to the Director of Clinic Nursing. The Student Medical Assistant will participate in patient care duties, attend and participate in all clinic meetings and skills day, collaboratively work with preceptor to complete department specific competencies, completion of training schedule, following HIPPA guidelines, responding and participating in call alerts, and other duties as assigned.

Applicants, must pass all pre-placement assessments.

• If selected, will be accountable to all Beloit Health System policies and guidelines.
• If selected, the Student Medical Assistant must apply for and be accepted into the Medical Assistant program of participating partner school.

• Courses and position to start in January 2024.
