Your Typical Daily Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards
  • Follow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentation
  • Properly manage cook times while preparing and multitasking several orders at a time
  • Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times

Skills Required for Success

  • Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks and evolving needs within the department
  • Ability to actively listen, observe, identify and anticipate guests needs with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a collective goal
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand English

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write and speak proficient English
  • Minimum of 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or an equivalent environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays as needed
