Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating various dental conditions to ensure optimal oral health.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations and screenings
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Create treatment plans and educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide quality patient care
- Use medical coding and documentation systems to accurately record patient information
- Take vital signs and maintain accurate medical records
- Utilize CAD/CAM technology for restorative procedures
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Provide specialized dental care for pediatric patients
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge related to dentistry
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work well in a team environment
