Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and documentation in electronic health record systems such as Epic - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office reception area when needed Skills: - Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health record systems such as Epic - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and anatomy - Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental prosthetics - Strong understanding of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations - Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - X-Ray certification is required Join our team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
