SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this job is to deliver and correctly install fiberglass sucker rods, and other Endurance Lift Solutions products for well completion such as steel sucker rods, sinker bars, pumps and shear tools.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Install products manufactured and sold by ELS for well completion such as steel rods, fiberglass rods, sinker bars, pumps and shear tools.
• Following standard procedures, execute general installs, rod delivery, rod inspection and verify the spacing of a well after the installation is complete.
• Load and deliver steel rods, fiberglass rods, sinker bars, shear tools; must be able to use both paper maps as well as other navigation tools such as GPS.
• Adhere to company policy to ensure the protection of all company assets.
• Ensure the protection of company intellectual property and all other assets.
• Become proficient in all ELS electronic data input systems.
• Maintain 100% accountability of all gear and equipment issued by ELS.
• Perform other duties as specified by supervisor and conduct related work, as necessary.
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
• Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals.
• Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.
• Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s EHS training requirements.
• Ability to obtain DOT driver qualifications.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• General understanding of well completion forming a background for troubleshooting failures.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks without close supervision or direction.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A combination of these requirements may also be considered.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to sit and/or drive a vehicle; a minimum of 2 hours and often up to 4 hours.
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a pump shop or warehouse, and to all allowable areas of a well site or other job sites.
• Must be able to manually lift up to 70 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working in various locations.
• Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools such as a wench.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Must be able to maneuver a 40’ trailer both bumper pull and gooseneck.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environments may also include customer sites including oil wells, meeting venues, and office settings. There may also be extensive time off-site while traveling to or from other locations as required.
