Bell Ford is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a reputable auto body shop. Frame and structure repair experience is a plus!
Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Compensation: $24 - $28/ flat rate hour DOE
Benefits: - Full benefit package available after 90 days
Job Duties:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required in the auto body repair process
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and assemble vehicle components
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Replace and repair auto glass as necessary
- Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to ensure a seamless finish
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure quality repairs
Job Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using power tools and specialized equipment
- Experience with welding and fabricating metal components
- Knowledge of auto glass replacement and repair techniques
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must have a valid AZ Driver's license and a good driving record
