JOB SUMMARY:
A Catch Crew Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and humane loading of Bell & Evans broilers, pullets, and breeders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervise and assist in training your team so that they are fully capable of implementing the company’s catching and loading policies and procedures.
Maintain good communication with catching manager, company crews, contract crews, growout personnel, transportation team members and contract producers.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of database software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
FOOD SAFETY:
Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid driver’s License.
Forklift Certification.
CDL medical card.
