An Aerospace Systems Engineer - Systems Integration and Test role is currently available at Belcan in Seattle, WA. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have four years of work experience in product or system development, design, implementation and validation and verification, previous network systems experience, along with a bachelor's degree. You will be working with Aerospace customers.

Job Duties:

* Assists in developing, documenting V&V (verification and validation) procedures for systems and components

* Performs analysis to predict component performance to established requirements, mitigate risks

* Troubleshoot to define root cause and document problem reports to prevent reoccurring

* Conducts V&V to validate performance of designs to requirements

* Collects performance data to ensure compliance to requirements

* Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle

* Supports project management by gathering project status data. Gathers information to support development of sections of proposals to support development of new business

* Works with limited supervision

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Aerospace, or other relevant Engineering discipline

* Experience in Aerospace is desired

* 3 years' experience working directly with DO-178C standard is desired, but not required

* Four years total experience in product or system development, design, implementation and V&V.

* Linux/Unix command line experience is required

* Troubleshoot connected systems

* Proven ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions in both design and implementation stages

* Experience working in a laboratory/simulated test environment

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to make plans and directional recommendations collaboratively and cross-functionally

* Ability to engineer creative, new approaches to problems

* Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful

* Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with networks

* Experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification

* Experience or education with network systems and scripting necessary to perform or conduct verification analysis, design, modeling and testing

* Experience in computational analysis

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $118,000 -$130,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
