A Temp Accountant job in North Billerica, MA is currently accepting applications. This is a contract position with our key manufacturing client. In this role, you will support Percentage of Completion accounting. To be considered you will have a 2 or 4 year degree in finance, accounting or similar, and 2 years of experience. Equivalent education and experience will also be considered.
Accountant Responsibilities:
*Knowledge and experience in Percentage of Completion accounting
*Create intuitive excel models, specific to:
oAssessing ongoing job costs and margins
oMonthly close automation
*Create reporting tools, leveraging and tying to the general ledger
*Build datasets that are easily updated on a frequency basis
Accountant Requirements:
*2 or 4 year degree in finance, accounting or similar
*High proficiency in excel and modeling is a must
*Experience in manufacturing environment is also a must
*Ability to operate independently (someone who does not need constant guidance and instruction)
