If you get things done, take the bull by the horns, like to have fun wed love to meet you!eJam is seeking an Senior Accountant, based in Santa Ana and reporting the CEO, to oversee all Accounting functions for eJam including General Accounting, Billing, A/R, A/P, Financial Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, Investor Reporting, and Commission Administration. The Senior Accountant will be a key staff member at eJam and will work closely with the CEO and Operating Managers to drive financial strategy and execution.Based in Santa Ana, CA, eJam is a leading e-commerce company and incubator of consumer goods brands that people love! From health & beauty to home improvement, we leverage technology to support our direct-to-consumer business model, making it effortless for customers to purchase our products.Responsibilities:Oversee all activities of the Finance department including the month-end close process, financial planning, financial reporting, payroll, and cash management.Establish monthly, quarterly and annual budgets with capital requirements to achieve uninterrupted cash flow and to accomplish corporate financial goals.Establish & Maintain current corporate Investor Relations & ReportingEstablish and maintain Corporate Accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure conformance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations.Manage banking and financial relationships.Establish and manage corporate risk management policies and priorities, insuring adequate insurance needs and cash reserves.Set priorities and goals for the department, hire and mentor the accounting team.Serve as the key technical accounting resource for the Company.Ensure complete and accurate tax compliance and tax accounting in conjunction with a 3rd party provider.Ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy in the level and timeliness of reporting (continuous improvements).Ensure that operational and design effectiveness of internal controls are maintained.Administer the commission plan. Work closely with Sales to refine the commission plan to ensure sales behavior is aligned with company objectives.Manage key COGS expenses in close collaboration with the operating managers.Build relationships cross-functionally to foster collaboration both inside and outside of the Finance & Accounting team.Support the CEO on key financial decisions.RequirementsMust have previous sales tax experienceSolid professional experienced in financial leadership for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial high-growth Company of $12M .5 years experience in Corporate and/or General Accounting as the Controller or Assistant Controller.2 or more years of supervisory experience required.Import/Export and/or Wholesale/Retail experience preferred.Experience implementing ERP systems,Advanced understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions.The ability to produce quality results in an efficient manner within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.Collaborative business professional adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results.Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceBenefitsSalary expectations between $70,000 - $78,0000 (depending on experience)Amazing office environmentFull BenefitsPaid VacationIn order to be seriously considered, please submit your resume outlining your detailed experience as a Senior Accountant.
