Position Description:
BehaviorRx is partnering with several exceptional school districts in the Phoenix area who are looking for several contract School Speech Language Pathologists for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Location: Greater Phoenix Area and Nationally
- Duration: August 2023-May 2024
- Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
- Full or Part Time: Full Time
- Schedule: 40 hours/week M-F
- Pay: $95,000/yr

Essential duties
- Designs and implements intervention programs, which remediate deficit speech/language skills of identified students
- Works with school personnel and parents to design and implement the students intervention plan, individual service plan, or individual student plan most appropriate to address the students need
- Offers consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of students speech language goals
- Acts as a resource to parents, school personnel and other caregivers in the area of speech/language development
- Administers appropriate screening and/or diagnostic tests to determine childs speech/language competency, if requested
- Interprets diagnostic tests, identifies strengths and weaknesses in areas of speech/language skills, and generates reports providing feedback to school personnel and parents
- Is knowledgeable concerning all policies and procedures as established for these services
- Completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Light lifting, walking, and/or climbing stairs may be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning required
- Masters Degree from an ASHA accredited university is required
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license/credential is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competency is preferred
- Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred
