The Facilities Technician I is an entry level position for the support of the BHN Facilities Department. General responsibilities are routine entry level building maintenance and facility- related tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other facility-related tasks as assigned. The Facilities Tech I provides support to the Facilities Technicians II & III’s for special projects and facility work, repair, and maintenance.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
High school Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Vehicle should be Registered and inspected in accordance w 540 CMR 4.00.
Basic/entry level knowledge of facilities systems, preventative maintenance, repairs, and work.
OSHA 10 certification required or must be obtained within 90 day of employment.
Basic knowledge of all facilities related safety standards and regulations (fire, evacuation, equipment handling and failure, etc.
