Behavior Basics is searching for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in Port St Lucie Florida to join our amazing and dynamic team.

The current open position will serve children in our therapy clinic (primarily), with additional support services in home, in school and in community as needed. Responsibilities of this position include conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, training RBTs, and providing ongoing supervision. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a team of BCBAs with diverse specialties, providing support and fostering professional growth with Behavior Basics. Qualifications: The ideal candidate has strong programming abilities, a solid understanding of assessment foundations, a growth oriented mindset, and outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, high energy, and motivation to make socially significant impact on our community. Behavior Basics is particularly interested in candidates with existing or emerging leadership skills and a passion for team development. The preferred candidate should have at least two years of experience providing direct services to individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
· Requires prolonged sitting, standing, floor work—in session with children the physical requirements are varying but sitting can include on the floor for durations up to at least 3 hours (depending on child needs and therapeutic protocol), standing during sessions up to 3 hours, conducting sessions on the floor or at a table (conducive to the learner) for session duration (2-6 hours). Kneeling, squatting, crawling are also components of this position in working with young children (durations vary but can be several hours depending on client needs).
· Requires quick movements, as necessary to respond to a child/client as part of therapy or to keep child safe, for example blocking dangerous behavior or elopement.
· Requires lifting materials or child/client (up to 50 lbs.).
· Requires local travel, within counties served.
· Ability to work in noisy and crowded environments.
· All sessions in home/community environment MUST always have a caregiver 18 years or older present during sessions (BBI staff should never be alone with a client).
Compensation: this is a salaried employee position with competitive compensation and benefits package (health, dental, vision, STD, 401k with match, conference stipend, relocation stipend). Compensation is considered high average and is dependent on experience, education, and ongoing performance evaluation.
