Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our office and assisting with various tasks related to materials management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments of office supplies, marketing materials, and other items, verifying quantities and quality against packing lists or purchase orders.
  • Unpack boxes and containers, inspecting items for damage or defects, and reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring that materials are stored securely and in an orderly manner.
  • Assist with the assembly and packaging of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and promotional items.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments of documents, packages, and other materials, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Assist with office maintenance tasks, such as restocking breakroom supplies, emptying trash bins, and cleaning common areas.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
  • Proficiency in using basic office equipment, such as computers, printers, and copiers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.73 - $28.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
