Beemac Logistics is seeking a talented and organized Accounting/Admin Manager to oversee a diverse range of financial and operational functions. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting practices, ensuring a smooth employee onboarding and payroll process, and managing the company's insurance portfolio.
Responsibilities:

• Accounting:
  • Manage all aspects of staff accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the work of accounting staff (if applicable).
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting best practices.
  • Close the books monthly and prepare accurate financial statements.
  • Work with external auditors during annual audits.
• Human Resources:
  • Manage the entire employee onboarding process, from new hire paperwork to benefits enrollment.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Maintain employee personnel files.
  • Assist with employee relations matters as needed.
• Insurance:
  • Responsible for oversight of all current insurance policies.
  • Work directly with management team on renewal plan.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting and HR management role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
• Proven experience with payroll processing and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and HR software (e.g., Paylocity).
