Position Overview: Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for driving excellence in accounting and financial management? We are seeking a Controller to oversee and manage all aspects of our company's financial operations. As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and fostering fiscal responsibility. What we need done:

• Develop and execute financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
• Monitor budget variances and take corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance, working closely with external tax advisors.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs.
• Optimize cash management practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting team.
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Who we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior financial leadership role.
• 3-5 years as a Controller of a $10–$25-million-dollar business or assistant controller of a larger business.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in the Home Services industry or a similar field is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial success.
• Individual contributor but collaborative team player.
