Job Title: Childcare Teacher (Ages 3-5) Maximum class size 12 children Assistant Teacher support
Location: 5022 S. Western, Los Angeles, CA 90062
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our team in providing quality early childhood education to children ages 3-5. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a childcare setting, be committed to nurturing children's development, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for children ages 3-5.- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Supervise and interact with children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Collaborate with Assistant Teacher to effectively manage a maximum class size of 12 children.
- Communicate regularly with parents and families to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements: Valid Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
- CPR and First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults (Not immediately required)
- Previous experience working with children and families in a childcare setting.
- Familiarity with Creative Curriculum is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Full-time position (8-hour shift) Monday to Friday.
