Beauty Solutions, LLC is an independent wholesale distributor of luxury salon products serving licensed professionals and salons in the the west coast states of California, Arizona, and Nevada.

About the Position:

Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the District Manager will lead a small team of 1-5 employees either within the Resource Center or on the Sales Team. The District Manager is responsible for overseeing team performance, training, sales generation, achieving sales targets, promotion implementation, and complying with company policies and procedures. The position is an exempt position, the duties of which while typically require 40 hours per work week, with potential for additional weekend or evening hours for special events, meetings, and trainings.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of one year of leadership experience.
  • Minimum of one year sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication / presentation skills.
  • Previous experience within Salon industry preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong understand of business development and analytics.
  • Previous knowledge/experience within the haircare or beauty industry a plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide superior customer service
  • Fulfilling managerial duties including hiring, training, staffing, disciplinary actions, employee terminations, delegation, guidance, performance evaluations and follow-up on tasks assigned to other Resource Center employees.
  • Overseeing the activities of the sales team through consistent KPI (Key Performance Indicators) monitoring and evaluation
  • Training in new processes, policies, and procedures
  • Using the data from KPIs to set and create short-term and long-term strategies
  • Looking for patterns in the KPIs that can help improve the performance of the sales team
  • Looking for patterns in the KPIs that can help improve profitability
  • Analyzing the sales team’s performance and identifying areas that require improvement
  • Review and improve existing sales objectives, strategies, and performance to help ensure the company continues to grow its customer base, grow sales, and minimize attrition
  • Meetings are the communication vehicle for launching the latest programs, products, trainings, and connecting with team members and brand partners. Therefore, preparation and strong presentation skills are critical for a positive outcome
