Position Summary

Providing support to the Finance and performs accounting functions

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform journal entries for adjustments to the general ledger as necessary

Review financial statements and expenses

• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Manage all Agency Grants
• Creates business invoices and request payments for services rendered
• Provides assistance with internal and external audits
• Manages all Agency contracts.
• Assists in the reconciliations and recoding of bank statements.
• Assists in Treasury duties 
• Review transactions for proper account coding for expense, location, department grant and other cost categories as needed.
• Assist with electronic vendor payment and administration.
• Perform journal entries for adjustments to the general ledger as necessary.
• Provides assistance with internal and external audits.
• Assist with journal entries to the general ledger.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

Qualifications

.BA degree in accounting or finance preferred

• 2-3 years of accounting experience desirable
• Computer skills required:Accounting Software; Inventory Software; Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications;)
